Ubiquiti is considered prosumer giving me stronger features and more control than an off-the-shelf TP-Link/Linksys/Netgear type all in one wifi/modem/router combo as well as the ability to distribute my WiFi access points to better locations in the house letting me optimize WiFi signal (goodbye dead zones).
